payslip generation

Hi Experts,

  I am using GET_PAYSLIP function to generate epays slip and send to relevant users .i need to change the payslip layout. If I changed the variant in GET_PAYSLIP it don't work ??..its come as default variant .is there any configuration to change the variant ??pl help me to change the payslip format using changing the variant ..
